Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

8 days Morocco Imperial Cities tour departure: Begin your journey in Casablanca with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, an architectural masterpiece and one of the largest mosques in the world. After exploring Casablanca, travel to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Visit landmarks such as the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the scenic Kasbah of the Udayas. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

After breakfast, depart for Meknes, an imperial city known for its grand gates and historic monuments. Visit the impressive Bab Mansour Gate, Heri es-Souani granaries, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.

Continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with ancient mosaics and stunning views. After exploring the site, drive to Fes, where you’ll enjoy dinner and stay overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 3: Fes Guided Tour

Spend the day exploring Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and spiritual capital. A local guide will take you through the UNESCO-listed Medina, with its labyrinth of narrow streets, bustling souks, and historical sites. Highlights include the Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, Chouara Tannery, Al-Attarine Madrasa, and the Jewish Quarter (Mellah). Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Fes.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Beni Mellal – Marrakech

Depart Fes in the morning and travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, a picturesque town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and visit the Cedar Forest near Azrou to see Barbary macaque monkeys.

Continue through Berber villages and the agricultural town of Beni Mellal, stopping for lunch en route. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where you’ll stay overnight in a charming riad.

Day 5: Marrakech Guided Tour

Explore the vibrant city of Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs. Wander through the lush Majorelle Garden, a peaceful oasis designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle. Spend time exploring the bustling Medina and the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where performers, food stalls, and artisans create an unforgettable atmosphere. Return to your riad for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech

Take a day trip to the coastal city of Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its charming medina, relaxed vibe, and beautiful Atlantic coastline. Explore the Skala de la Kasbah, the bustling fishing port, and the artisan workshops producing unique woodwork and crafts. Enjoy fresh seafood by the harbor before returning to Marrakech for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Marrakech – Casablanca

After breakfast, enjoy free time in Marrakech to shop or relax. Later, travel back to Casablanca, where you can revisit the Hassan II Mosque or stroll along the Corniche. Spend your final evening enjoying the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Overnight in Casablanca.

Day 8: Departure from Casablanca

After breakfast, transfer to Casablanca airport for your departure flight, marking the end of our imperial cities tour.
