Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

3 days Desert Tour from Marrakech departure: We depart early from Marrakech, traveling through the stunning High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, we enjoy panoramic views of rugged landscapes and charming Berber villages. Our first major stop is the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its mudbrick ksar and its appearances in iconic films and series. After exploring the village, we continue to Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco,” to visit Atlas Film Studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah. In the afternoon, we travel through the scenic Valley of Roses and arrive at Dades Valley, where we enjoy dinner and spend the night in a traditional riad or kasbah.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

After breakfast, we explore the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Gorges, famous for their unique rock formations. From here, we journey to the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where we take a short hike to admire the towering canyon walls that surround us. Continuing our adventure, we pass through charming Berber villages and arid landscapes before arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon, we embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, marveling at the beauty of the sunset over the sand. In the evening, we arrive at our desert camp, where we enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the stars, followed by cultural entertainment around a campfire. Overnight, we relax in a luxurious tent surrounded by the peaceful desert.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

We start the day early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes, a truly unforgettable experience. After breakfast, we return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4 and begin our journey back to Marrakech. Passing through the town of Alnif and the palm-lined Draa Valley, we stop in Agdz for a quick break before crossing the High Atlas Mountains once again. The drive offers stunning views of the changing landscapes, from desert plains to mountain peaks. By evening, we arrive back in Marrakech, marking the end of our 3-day desert adventure.
